Walkworry-free
The first edition was a great success, and in 2026 Tante Toos will be ready for all walkers again. Safely store your bag, coat or spare clothes in the heart of Groningen and walk every stage with your hands free.
You’ll find us at Poelestraat 10, around the corner from the Grote Markt where the start and finish are. During the event we extend our opening hours: we open in the evening and stay open all night and the next day until 18:00.

We open in the evening and don’t close until 18:00 the next day. So you can drop your things off at night and pick them up at your leisure after your stage — no rush, no closed door.
On Monday we already open at 12:00 so you can store everything before the first walking day. On the final night, Friday to Saturday, we stay open until 06:00.

The week deal · first come, first served
One locker for thewhole week
Normally you pay per day. During the 4-Day Walk you reserve one fixed locker for the whole week and pay once. Checkout is in Dutch.

Advance reservations are closed. Stop by the kiosk at Poelestraat 10 and rent your locker per night on the spot.

Good toknow
Yes! You reserve one fixed locker that's yours all week. No need to rent again every day: you pay once and use the same locker from Monday 12:00 to Saturday 12:00.
Your locker becomes active on Monday at 12:00, the day before the first walking day. That way you can store your things at ease before the event kicks off.
Your locker stays active until Saturday 12:00, the day after the last walking day. So you have plenty of time to collect your belongings after the festive finish.
You have two options. Use the link in the text message we send you on Monday, or enter your phone number and access code at one of the terminals. If you're asked 'Do you want to keep using your locker?', answer YES all week. That way the locker stays yours until Saturday.
Yes. Between Monday and Saturday we leave everything in place, overnight too. Handy for spare clothes or things for the next day: walk every stage with your hands free.
Think dry clothes and fresh socks for after the finish, flip-flops, sunscreen and blister plasters. Since your belongings stay put all week, you can also stock up on snacks or an outfit for the party night.
Yes, please do! Share your phone number and access code with your walking buddies and they can open and close the locker too. One locker for the whole group.
Yes, you can rent a power bank from us. That way your phone never runs out after a long day of walking, which is handy if you're taking photos along the way.
